University students in Kyiv, Ukraine joined Dr. Rhett Oldham for a discussion on best practices in teaching. This is the second year of our collaboration.
Dr. Svitlana. Kuzmina, Assistant Professor, Vinnytsia State Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi Pedagogical University, Executive Director of Community of Educators has created an environment where students display a growth mindset who are striving to be the best educators they can be. This makes for lively discussions and mutual admiration. |
Morocco University Students Talk Global Citizenship
Dr. Mohamed Bettaoui, a professor at Hassan I University in Settat, teacher of English invited Dr Oldham and his class of 8th Grade World History class to discuss "What Does It Mean to Be A Global Citizen and An American" with his English class at the university. Students discussed over Zoom the topic and then the floor was open for questions. The questions were deep and thought-provoking. This is just one more example of how students at SGMS rise to the level of expectation and represent our community in a positive way.
