The Knights of the Square Table In Action

The Knights of the Square Table Chess Club at Ste Genevieve Middle School competed in a dual match at Senn Thomas Middle School in Herculaneum on December 6th.   Over 50 students participated and had an awesome time.  SGMS earned 10 of the 12 honors as well as the team trophy.  Ms. Debbie Stein at Senn-Thomas hosted an outstanding event and her students were great to compete against.  We made new friends and learned how we can be better chess players.  Afterwards, the chess team walked over to the gym to cheer the SGMS boys basketball team as they played against the Blackcats 7th and 8th grade basketball teams. ​
